The first instance, in 1922, was a five-game series after Game 2 ended in a tie. The Giants won the other four games, which technically makes it a 4-0 sweep. Forty-one years later, the Dodgers swept the Yankees with Sandy Koufax winning MVP. The most recent time the Yankees were swept was in 1976, when Johnny Bench and the Reds rolled to the title.
We’ll see how much this matters going forward, because the Dodgers didn’t have to use any of their high-leverage pitchers in this game. They lost it, but Landon Knack going four innings — when the game was still relatively close — helped the Dodgers at least keep their bullpen rested for this Game 5 showdown against Gerrit Cole.

The Phillies have had an unlikely Cinderella-story season, and are by no means out of the running. A poor 22-29 start that led to manager Joe Girardi being let go back in June, with bench coach Rob Thomson made interim manager. They won 14 of their next 16 games and turned their season around.
Battling their way through the division, they were the last team to clinch the Wild Card spot, having to slug their way through every other team to get here. And they did. They proved time and again that they belong in this series, coming back from a five-run deficit on the road in Game 1, teeing off in a facsimile of a home run derby in Game 3.
He’s opened the scoring in each of the past two games with a two-run homer in the top of the first inning. On Tuesday, after Mookie Betts smacked a one-out double into the right-field corner, Yankees starter Luis Gil hung a slider on the outer half. Freeman launched it into the right-field seats at Yankee Stadium.
The Astros will hand the ball over to Framber Valdez, who was Wheeler’s counterpart in Game 2 as well. Unlike his struggling opponent, however, Valdez had a steaming hot outing, allowing only one run on four hits and three walks while striking out nine in 6.1 innings. He has started three playoff games this season and notched up the win in all of them.
One team enters with a chance to clinch a World Series title, while the other battles to keep its season alive and force one of those winner-take-all Game 7s. Past Game 6 classics have etched into our collective memory the names of Hall of Famers who lived up to their superstar billing, and role players who had career-defining moments.

It’s a great game for children and adults. I haven’t spent too much time playing, but from my experience, it’s a fantastic app to get you to know all the countries, capitals, etc of the world. It has an in-game encyclopedia which has information such as the capital, size of country, population, etc. The game is really engaging as there is a leaderboard for all those competitive people like me. To add on, it isn’t overall hard to make you quit from anger and frustration. It has a mix of everything you can want in a geography game, and I strongly recommend this to children, or just anybody that wants to improve their knowledge of the world! Great job developers, keep up the good work! 🙂
