Game 3 world series 2024
I know this one might sound too simple, but it is really important in World’s Hardest Game. There are some games out there that you can fly through without much struggle. https://utmenus.com/ World’s Hardest Game is not one of those games. It is very easy to find yourself stuck on a level, but you should not give up! If you find yourself stuck, try to have some fun and fight off the frustration.
You know how people say that something’s not difficult by saying it’s “not rocket science?” Well, the “Kerbal Space Program” is essentially rocket science! Sure, it’s done with goofy looking little green people called Kerbals, but the physics involved in getting them into orbit and performing tasks once they get there is surprisingly accurate. And that’s what makes it so monumentally challenging! If planning missions to space were easy, everyone would be doing it! Having to keep track of so many things to ensure success can be a demanding task. Chances are you’ll crash, explode, spin out of control, or run out of fuel before you get it right.
If we were counting user-created levels, “Geometry Dash” would be a contender for the top spot on our list. But even the base game of this musical platform runner makes us want to dash our heads against something! Each level propels you through a brightly colored, musical platforming gauntlet and if you hit something, you die and have to start over. While you only use one button to jump, various portals can switch up elements of the environment, which can either help you, or leave you more confused and frustrated. Practice makes perfect, but you’ll have to practice a lot to get anywhere close to perfect in “Geometry Dash.”

9. 1956: Dodgers 1, Yankees 0 (Forced Game 7)One of only three contests in World Series history to remain scoreless through the first nine innings, this game between two fierce intracity rivals featured brilliant complete-game performances by Brooklyn’s Clem Labine and New York’s Bob Turley. The Dodgers‘ winning run in the bottom of the 10th was classic small ball — a walk by Jim Gilliam, a sacrifice bunt by Pee Wee Reese and an intentional walk to Duke Snider before Jackie Robinson knocked the walk-off single to left. The Yankees‘ offense would get revenge the following day in a dominant 9-0 win in Game 7 at Ebbets Field.

• There have been 61 winner-take-all Game 7s, between the World Series and LCS, counting the 1912 World Series, which required an eighth game but only due to an earlier tie. Leaving out 2020 games played at neutral sites, home teams have gone 30-29, including the Astros and Phillies losses in the LCS.
2. 1986: Mets 6, Red Sox 5 (Forced Game 7)The Red Sox, trying to close out their first championship since 1918, lost a 3-2 lead when Gary Carter hit a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the eighth. Boston scored twice in the 10th, including Dave Henderson’s leadoff homer, but with two outs and nobody on base in the bottom of the frame, things unraveled. After three straight singles, a wild pitch and Mookie Wilson’s grounder through the legs of first baseman Bill Buckner, the Mets walked off to set up their Game 7 triumph.
Knight advanced to second on the wild pitch. Several times during the ensuing series of pitches, second baseman Barrett realized that Knight was straying too far from the base and that if he could get Stanley to turn and throw to him, he would have an easy pickoff play and the inning could have ended there. Despite his best attempts, Barrett never was able to get Stanley to hear him as the sellout crowd at Shea Stadium was drowning him out, and Stanley instead chose to focus on getting Wilson out.

The Los Angeles Dodgers started strong against the New York Yankees in Game 4 of the World Series when Freddie Freeman hit a two-run home run — his fourth in four games — in the top of the first inning. But a third-inning grand slam by Anthony Volpe to left center finally got the Yankees’ bats going.
• Freeman won well-deserved World Series MVP honors, with four homers, 12 RBIs and a .300 average. He’s the 12th player to win a league MVP and World Series MVP in his career, and to say the list is good company is an understatement. He joins Johnny Bench, Roberto Clemente, Rollie Fingers, Bob Gibson, Reggie Jackson, Sandy Koufax, Brooks Robinson, Frank Robinson, Pete Rose, Mike Schmidt and Willie Stargell. That’s 10 Hall of Famers and the all-time hits leader.

Up 5-2, the Yankees never lost the lead again. After the Dodgers scored two in the fifth — one on a home run from Will Smith — to pull within a run, the Yankees answered in the sixth inning when catcher Austin Wells homered to right field and exploded for another five runs in the eighth inning, three of them on a Gleyber Torres home run.
They used a bullpen game to blow out the Padres with their season on the line while on the road in Game 4 of the NLDS then came back to Dodger Stadium and shut them out to advance into the next round. They used an overwhelming offensive attack to dispatch the surging New York Mets, accumulating an NLCS-record 46 runs. And then they overwhelmed the high-powered Yankees.
